Issues with default translation and maybe CSS

Hi everyone,

Issues with default translation and maybe CSS after moving from /public directory. Look at these ptscreen to see what's happening. Second image it's when I click on "Profile".

Did a fresh install of Flarum, worked fine till I did the procedure to move the installation from /public to /. I did the entire procedure correctly, modified all the parameters and also cleared cache.

Also tried to reinstall translations, reactivate all the extensions, etc... Nothing worked.

Anyone can help me ?

you can try clearing the cache

T_Medias You mentioned you cleared cache but was it browser cache or Flarum cache? For me, if that ever happens clearing all caches I can think of plus cookies fixes it. Flarum, browser, Cloudflare (if used)... purge all cache.

Besides that, although you said you did it right, the next thing I would do is triple check how I did the paths which point to base, storage, etc.

010101 I cleared both, but maybe there was a latency in clearing cloudflare cache ! It works now but I have a new issue (and it's my fault).

I accidentally deleted all the files into the "assets" folder by trying to clear cache manually. Now all the images are broken...

How can I install the assets again ?

T_Medias You might want to just start again. Some here may disagree but, if this is a brand new forum, and now that you know caching takes a while and can be tricky, just do a fresh install. Or, is there a reason you don’t want to do that?

T_Medias running php flarum migrate will copy the icon fonts again. There's plan to make this into a dedicated command instead of running it together with database migrations, but the migration command should work fine for fixing fonts flarum/core1644

If you accidentally deleted avatars, there's no way to retrieved them if you don't have a backup.
