I assume it would be the usual Drag and Drop - then /update migration unless I'm wrong.

I will like to get that confirmed with the ease of upgrade - just a drag and drop with the typical couple clicks upgrade. It will be upgrade-able on Day One of the Beta?

Not sure what you mean by drag and drop.

Our plan: Upgrading should be as easy as filling in a form with some more fields than the typical installer (because you need to specify the type, location and database credentials for your old forum) and then waiting for the importer...

Franz That was the answer we were looking for. I have installed esotalk @Franz and wanted to confirm that was happening on Day One. I don't want the issue where Flarum Beta is released and than been told that the importer is weeks to months away fro esotalk

Sorry for the confusion, but I don't think an importer will be available day one of beta. It's low priority given that it would encourage people to upgrade their stable esoTalk/FluxBB installations to broken beta software. We need to focus on stabilising Flarum before we focus on importers.
