luceos the flat db design is good enough for personal blog, didn't need mysql.
I love Wagtail, very customizable and it has a very solid ground because it uses Django.
Hello, what do you think about Flatpress?
It's easy to install and manage.
You can download on flatpress.org
I'm using it on my two blogs and I'm completely satisfied
eagleman front end seems ok, but the backend admin portal isn't mobile friendly and looks very basic
phenomlab https://forum.flatpress.org/ Needs some Flarum 😀
phenomlab a completely new admin section is on the way, but actually is not ready for all users. I don't know if someone would like to use it, but looking on the Flatpress forum you can find it
Honestly, I would choose flarum with the blog extension as a CMS. This software is so amazing and fast. Even with a lot of extensions installed, my site runs super fast. Flarum is so extendable and flexible you can literally make it into whatever you want.
