Tags format

Hi,

When I create a tag and then place a tag under that one as a sub category is there any way that you can just select the sub category instead because it shows the main category first in any post, whereas I wish it to show just the one for example Racing > Formula 1. If Racing was the main category but F1 was chosen as a primary tag which mine are and then I created F1 as a primary tag too if I want to select F1 for example then I would have to choose Racing first and then the F1 category, is there any way around this.

For example here - https://stockportcountyforum.com/d/80-alty-h I wish for it to just select the Altrincham primary tag but because it is under the Primary tag of National League it shows the National League tag too which isn't what I want. The Altrincham tag doesn't show up when I type in tags only National League first and then I am able to select Altrincham or any other tag under the National League list.

JAC I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're requesting.

If you want to hide the first-level primary tag in the list of tags for each discussion in the discussion list, or the list of tags in the discussion header above the title, you should be able to hide one of the tags using CSS.

Or are you talking about the tag selector modal/popup used to select/edit tags on a discussion?

thanks for the reply.

What I'm trying to say is for example if I have ''Football' as a primary tag and a primary tag linked to that such as 'England, if I wanted to just select the England tag first I wouldn't be able to as I have to select Football first and then England.

So this would show in a discussion as the tags of Football - England for example. There is no way to just select the England tag first because it is under a different primary tag structure. As shown here - https://stockportcountyforum.com/d/80-alty-h if I wish to select the Altrincham topic I am unable to do so until I have first selected the topic of National League which the other primary topics are under. Is there any way to override this?
