I often look on Discourse too, although I love Flarum it definitely is good to compare what works and doesn't with other software providers and see what features Flarum may have that is similar or can be developed and two of the features on there that stands out for me is the Popular links and Summary section they offer.
The popular links section sits at the top of the post, with urls relating to the subject you are posting about and other general links in the forum with how many times they have been clicked on - https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-do-i-find-the-popular-links-section/44064
The summary section shows a quick summary of the post, if you haven't the time to read it all.
