curruwilla looks like you are right, it is missing the #incompatible tag. Unfortunately I don't see another compatible RSS extension and the maintainer doesn't seem to be active anymore. Either a member here would need to fork it, and update to support the latest beta or you may need to look at the option of retrieving discussions/posts via API. Someone else who is more familiar with it could probably provide additional detail on options there.
