Installing flarum in a folder

Hi all, i have a question, i just want to install flarum on my website www.justoverclock.it
so i need to have flarum in a folder called "forum", because in the root i have a wordpress website.

can someone explain what i have to do? now i'm in the "forum" with ssh connection....and i still wait for u 😃

You can run it in sub folder without public folder. https://docs.flarum.org/install.html#customizing-paths will help you.

yes i read this but i dont understand few thing? now in ssh i'm in the "forum" folder, which command i have to run? i want the "public directory" into the forum folder...

tried but doesn't work....i can see the file into directory, but if i point justoverclock.it/forum.....nothing.

i alsto tried now to install on a subdomain forum.justoverclock.it but doesn't work

There should be no files in the forum folder. Run the composer command to install the folder. Go to folder with cd command.

hi, i've finally installed flarum on a subdomain forum.justoverclock.it

now if i point this site, i get an error page, because forum is accessible only on https://forum.justoverclock.it/public/.
i tried a redirect 301 in my hosting panel, but i receive a "too many redirect" error.

How can i fix this? , remember that...i'm a newbie so pls consider to explain step by step if possible

Open the config.php file. Edit the url information.

Apply the Customizing Paths stage. At the end of the process, your forum folder will publish. Flarum normally publishes to the public folder.

done, solved with subadomain 😃
