Presettings Kategorien /Tags?

Hi!
Can someone tell me how I can set a category selection when creating a discussion? I have a window in which I can enter something, but no text appears. A preselection of the existing categories would be desirable.
This works in this forum. How do I have to change it in order to be able to use this function? Are tags different from categories? Seem i did'nt the option to set it or I'm using it incorrectly 🙂

The order of categories? You should be able to drag and rearrange categories (primary tags), secondary tags are alphabetical always I believe

Hello, I hope someone can help me, unfortunately I can't find a solution.

What exactly is the difference between Category & Tags? I would like to create sub-categories like shown here. I have created main categories at "/extension/flarum-tags". How do I link the sub-categories now to the maincategory?

When starting a discussion, I want to be able to select one main and one subcategory. Which settings have to be made for this? Please help

Profi420 You should be able to drag-drop primary tags under other primary tags (indented) to be subcategories. But the drag and drop isn't working for you, which is odd.

IE is not supported; which versions of Firefox/Opera are you using? Make sure you're on the latest version. Also, check the js dev tools console for error messages, and share them here if there are any

Is it possible that you use the German language pack? If you do, there is no difference. Flarum calls it a Tag and it was initially translated as "Kategorie" and not changed since. Sorry for the confusion.

2nd problem:
"/extension/flarum-tags" shows me the main categories. It is said that I can change the order of these using drag and drop. I see the arrows ↔↕ but can't move anything. Neither IE, Firefox, Opera ...

Yes, I use the German language package 🙂
After intensive and long research, I made it. But it would be great to fix the language package for future beginners. So it's pretty confusing 😅
