Flarum slow when logged in

Has anyone else noticed that their Flarum instance is really slow when logged in ? Compared to a visitor session (which runs blazingly fast), the logged in session seems to have a lot of lag.

I've tried disabling extensions, but it doesn't seem to make much difference.

[deleted] that's not unexpected. The SQL queries for logged in users are more complex than guests.

If you have many discussions or tags, even the base Flarum will eventually slow down due to this.

There's some work done on the sentry extension in the fof team. This new functionality adds performance metrics; if you use sentry you might want to give it a spin, constraint: dev-dk/performance or wait for the work to be completed (it's a low priority).

~~~ Maybe you can try Redis cache & queues ？ It reduced the response time of 100 ~ 200 ms for me.~~
