I never noticed this before upgrade, but might have always been.
Once a user's session expires the frontend continues to sh0ow them logged in even if you navigate around pages.
You'll get a permission denied error posting or trying other things, but it doesn't prompt to login. Instead you ahve to reload the page to restart the frontend app with updated session info to then login and continue.
