Suggestions Needed on Installing flarum on My Site

I am a owner of http://savearound.in and going to setup a forum for my site .
My site is having decent traffic and using shared hosting plan of hostgator . So my question if is i install flarum 1.8 on my site then would i need to change my hosting plan or shared plan will able to handle flarum forum easily ?

According to the description

Flarum is a simple PHP/MySQL application which runs great on any low-end shared host or VPS. Just upload the script and visit it in your web browser. That's it.

Please be advised that Flarum is still in beta and not recommended to be used in production. You can proceed with the setup at your own risk.

I recommend against using Flarum in production: http://flarum.org/docs/faq/#so-can-i-use-the-beta-version-in-production-please

If you still want to use it, you have to know whether your hosting plan supports SSH, otherwise everything related to Flarum might get complicated.

A few things

Flarum is on Beta 5, not 1.8

You need command line access ( SSH ) to install Flarum

Some shared hosts give SSH access. Check with your host

The developers do not recommend Flarum on a live site because it is still in beta stage

Sorry to say it, but the description is slightly outdated/not yet ready. This will be true of Flarum once it's out of beta, but for the moment with the use of composer, it's not exactly true.

The description is what describes the shipped product. Flarum officially do not give any software for production now. So I guess the description is valid for now as well.
