Turns out I was trying to use a custom BBCode that used [c]... I didn't realize that code already uses [c]... I thought it was only [code]... Anyway, after editing the BBCode so that it was no longer using [c][/c]... problem solved. That was an interesting one. It's interesting since it only affected the single backticks. I guess the way the markdown extension works is it actually uses BBCode in some way? I don't know... strange stuff. All that matters is it's fixed. 🙂
