I have an extension request for multilingual forum.
At the moment, flarum already has functionality to switch the language, however this functionality does not extend beyond changing the language of the site, the tags and content still remain in the language they were created in. The functionality I would like to request is the following:
- Create translations of the tags in multiple languages, so that tags are translated appropriately based on the site language selected by the users
- Mark the language of the post. This could be manual (user or mods set the language) or automatic using language detection APIs.
- Display only the posts in the language selected by the user on the home page, every tag page and following tags page.
Please let me know, if this is at all possible.
I am thinking to either develop the extension myself, or sponsor someone to develop the extension (depending on how much work is involved). Thanks!
