Best way to access flarum via mobile for notifications etc

Hi Everybody,

I've just got my flarum forum up and running on the web and it looks great via my laptop but I want to give my prospective members the recommended mobile options when I send out the invitations to join. I obviously also need to find out myself 😆

What is the best mobile app to use with flarum?

Thanks GreXXL. I know about email notifications, and I know about mobile notifications, but I don't know what progressive web app push notifications are - I have the vague idea you mean I should allow my mobile browser to accept notifications from the website. I think I've disabled that a while back because literally every website was asking me to allow notifications - or was that on my laptop? I'm not sure. I was thinking of apps like Tapatalk - I haven't ever used it though, I just saw it in the Android Playstore when I searched on Flarum.

adam42 there is a video linked there explaining Progressive Web Apps. Basically, you can receive notifications (pushed) on desktop (eg. Google Chrome) and on Adroid. iOS so far does not allow push notifications from PWA. But on both iOS and Android you can add the Flarum to the home screen and it launched without the browser interface - so looks more "Appish".

Oh right that's cool. The main thing is notifications really, as an alternative to email, which is why I asked about Tapatalk and I think there were a couple of other apps in the app store.

Is there any cool app that lets me keep tabs on flarum via mobile? I'd quite like to turn off email notifications.
