what if the sidenav will follow u when scroll down? i think could be useful...what u think about that?

Justoverclock Using custom CSS is a quick way to do it. Results vary depending on what you want but..

.IndexPage-nav ul { position:fixed; }

Position fixed forces it to stay in place, you can work on additional trickery for placement on screen (with the welcome banner it can cause issues for example).

The problem is that the sidenav might be taller than the page itself. And since the "More..." button is at the end, the user might not realize some tags are not shown 😅

Probably it will also break on desktop because the sidenav will not create space anymore messing up the layout.
A better solution would be to use position: sticky but it wouldn't work just dropping it this way, some tuning will be needed but this shouldn't complety mess up the mobile.

Is was more to help point @Justoverclock in the right direction of solving their problem.

To resolve the issue of mobile you can do it by screen width to apply. I assume with his being asked there isn't a large amount of tags on @Justoverclock flarum specifically 😃

I'm sure if I wanted to I could spend some time working out a more reasonable CSS, requirements:

Allow the scroll down to see additional tags below the viewport, then scroll.
Adjust position if 'Welcome Banner' is closed.
Not break if sub-tags are opened and kept open also.
Mobile support.

Anything else I might be missing?

Something along these lines looks like the best solution, but doesn't solve 'seeing the bottom tags' before scrolling to the bottom (with endless scroll you would never see them).

I think with flarums design its a tricky one.
