Hi! a few days ago I published a bug related to the blog as homepage, finally after a great investigation and effort of @JasperVriends (very grateful with that) discovered that the culprit is not in the blog extension, is in the core (flarum/core#2752 (comment)) My doubt arises precisely from that issue, where the user who published it commented this:
I have patched my forum using the commits above, it's working perfectly and I haven't noticed any obivious bugs yet, thx <3
I'd rather not go back to beta 15 and because of the possible breaking changes in 1.0/beta 17 it's possible that beta 16 will be my home for a while.
That's why I was wondering if maybe I could fix the problem like the user did by adding the commits (I don't know exactly which one he is referring to), it's something I've never done, I imagine I would have to edit the core files via SSH on the server and I don't know if it's "dangerous" on production site, I may have problems in the future when upgrading or something like that?
Sorry to ping you @askvortsov but it looks like it was you who found the solution to the issue maybe you can help me to know which file to edit. Thanks
