BBcode VS mention

Hi,

I migrate my board from FluxBB. I wish not convert all my BBCode to Markdown but I whish have mention feature in BBCode... Is there a syntaxe for that ?

llaumgui Mentions aren't really bbcode or markdown. It's an extension separate from both. I'll also note that you can have markdown and bbcode installed in parallel, so users can use the one they prefer.

OK, juste that mention do not work with the systaxe of bbcode

askvortsov that isn't true. Our mentions extensions works only with markdown, that is the reason I maintain a fork for bbcode, see: Bokt/mentions8d85113

llaumgui not sure whether you want to replace the default mentions logic to use bbcode, but the bokt/mentions fork does that. You need to specify it with a composer, repositories, vcs way as the extension isn't published.

Another solution can be to change the BBCode for quote...
Because, I use Flarum in french and I have "wrote" and not "a écrit"... I can add mention feature in this moment.

Your fork replace markdown feature... I would like have markdown and bbcode mention...
