Uninstall a Broken Extension

How do I uninstall with Composer this: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/8302-online-users-extension/107

I installed it without catching it does not work with Beta 16 and now I cannot access my Admin section.

Would I run this command to uninstall and fix the issue: composer remove antoinefr/flarum-ext-online:*

Never mind, I tried it....said composer command not found. What do I do now?

aaronhall try just composer remove antoinefr/flarum-ext-online: no need to specify a version when removing. Also make sure you're in the right folder.

After I had installed it my Admin dashbaord went blank and showed this: Something went wrong while trying to load the full version of this site. Try hard-refreshing this page to fix the error.

Still not working after uninstalling.

I tried holding down Command + Shift and pressing R. It refreshed but did not do anything.

Thanks for all your help! That fixed the issue!
So run that any time I remove an extension?

Also, should I report that extension since I am using Beta 16?

aaronhall are you referring to https://discuss.flarum.org/d/8302-online-users-extension ? It's already marked as incompatible.

Generally the moderation team waits until users of the extension report it not working anymore to add the "Incompatible" tag. It seems like such reports have already been made in the extension discussion. It's not been compatible for a while, not just the latest version by the way.

I learned the hard way haha I'll keep an eye out for those tags when looking at extensions now.

aaronhall Or check https://extiverse.com when searching for extensions (or for confirming something works). It's usually not that far off from knowing the truth. As in that online extension no longer shows up.
