Great to see you are willing to step up. I would give it a couple more days to see if the „old“ language pack is really abandoned. It’s only been created fairly recently so it might not be.
In case it is abandoned I would think it would be awesome if moved to flarum-lang repository. If you’d prefer using weblate rob can be of assistance setting it up.
