Error posting web links

I am running into an issue when I try to make posts with web links, where the forums error out and won't let me post unless the links are removed. I get the following:

Error Notification
Error Description

Is this perhaps a setting that I don't know about? Or is something else the problem?

If any extra information is needed, please let me know what and how to get it - I'll provide it here 🙂 Thanks for any help!

lloyd094 can you check in the <flarum>/storage/logs folder to see if there's any error message logged? You can also try setting debug to true in config.php and try again to see the error message on screen.

If that doesn't change anything, then it must be an error outside of the Flarum script and you will find details in your server's error log. The location of those logs will depend on your hosting / operating system.

clarkwinkelmann Hmm... It looks like it was an issue with ModSecurity (enabled by default through DreamHost). I'll leave this information here in case someone else runs into the issue. You can toggle it off by disabling Extra Security under domain management, as they currently do not offer a way to disable a rule or otherwise modify it.
