Install outdated plugins to the latest Flarum version

Hi i a few questions about install outdated plugins to the latest Flarum version.

1: Can I somehow damage the Flarum installation with an outdated plugin?
By installing it via Composer and activating administration in Flarum. Can I damage the forum or make it inaccessible?
How to behave in this situation, how to proceed so that I can remove such a plugin exactly the commands.

1 I want install outdated plugin in Composer so there is little problem.
What should I enter to let me continue the installation?

a) When I want to uninstall a plugin there is some default command for Composer, or each plugin uses a different one. Of course, I know that each plugin has a different name, so the command will be different.

b) If I uninstall the plugin in the administration, the plugin will still remain in the administration, I understand that, but will this delete the data from the database?
I know that if I want to remove the plugin from the administration, I have to enter the command via composer.

I'll be happy if you write me some improtant commands here if something goes wrong regarding the plugin.
Then I can fix the situation, fix it.

rg90 Composer will not let you install extensions that were for Flarum beta on Flarum 1.0+ There's no way around it, the extension author needs to publish an update.

But in general yes if you manage to install an incompatible extension it will very likely make the forum inaccessible. This should not happen often now that Flarum is stable.

Since we use Composer for extension management, the same command is used for all extension. There are various flags and options on the require command and you will see different developers recommend different flags. If you're not familiar with what each flag does, just use the command provided in each extension README.

The "uninstall" button in the admin panel is there explicitly to delete the extension data. If you want to remove an extension without destroying its data, just disable the extension from the interface, then remove it with Composer. You can click on "uninstall" to see what it does, there's a confirm prompt:

Uninstalling will remove all database entries and assets related to the extension. Are you sure you want to continue?

Thanks now understand well. The problem is that some plugins that I liked to use are outdated which means that if the author doesn't update them I can't use them.
But I've seen a few tutorials on how people install outdated plugins with the command is it still possible? I just asked about these commands.
