Use a domain and not only a subdomain?

Is it possible to use a domain and not only a subdomain?
So like blabla.de and not bla.blala.de?

Timo6 if you self-host Flarum, there is no constraint. It can be an apex/top level domain or any level of subdomains, or a subfolder.

If you are referring to the FreeFlarum service, the service is managed by a community member and you should consult their documentation. I believe they use CNAME records and as such apex domains cannot be used.

Timo6 The Flarum Foundation/Team does not offer a hosting service. FreeFlarum and Blomstra are both the projects of awesome community members. Given their documentation though I'd assume that you can probable point your root domain at their cname domain and that would work?

luceos I figured it was probably FreeFlarum, but if I'm going to mention one hosting service, I'm going to mention all of them just for fairness 😉
