0.1.0-beta.5 compatible. Corrections and suggestions are welcome (preferably via a GitHub pull request or in the Gitter chatroom).

To install via composer:

Norwegian Bokmål:

composer require pladask/flarum-ext-norwegian-bokmal

Norwegian Nynorsk:

composer require pladask/flarum-ext-norwegian-nynorsk

Norwegian Bokmål: GitHub | Packagist
Norwegian Nynorsk: GitHub | Packagist

Note that I am completely new to Flarum, GitHub, Composer, and Packagist, so if I have done something horribly wrong, feel free to gently correct me. :-)

Pladask changed the title to Norwegian Bokmål and Norwegian Nynorsk Language Packs .

Any chance updating this for beta7 ?

If anyone has the will and skills to take over this, I will be happy to pass it on.

Norwegian language packs are now available on Weblate:

It would great if someone would move there translated phrases from old language pack (they may need some adjustments - a lot has changed in the last 6 years).

Hi.
First of all, is there a complete Norwegian Bokmål translation for Flarum?

If not, how can I go about to continue the translation?

PS: I ask this as I can not install this language pack into my brand new Flarum forum.
PPS: I found where to get it.

best regards
tormi

@rob006 can you help me here?

I have already done a lot of translations in the pack on Weblate, so would be great if this could be pushed to github.

I can also take over Norwegian Bokmål translations from @Pladask if this is still wanted.

tormi Changes are automatically pushed to GitHub, you should be able install language pack version that includes your contributions using composer require flarum-lang/norwegian-bokmal:dev-master command.

I'll grant you maintainer permission tomorrow.

May I ask. Default english language like this:
    "=> acpl-lscache.ref.purge_cache"

This should be skipped right? I should not in any way translate or change this text?

@tormi Sorry for the delay. I have granted you maintainer permission on Weblate and GitHub (you need to accept GitHub invite).

When you will be ready you can release a nem version by approving this pull request: flarum-lang/norwegian-bokmal1 (please read instruction in first comment of this PR).

Usually you can copy&paste such strings in the same form, and definitely you should not translate this message literally. This format means that translation from key acpl-lscache.ref.purge_cache should be used here, and usually this is exactly what you want also in translation. But in rare cases you may want to use different form, and then you can translate source directly (so you may use different translation of Purge LSCache here).
