I just need a button similar to "start a discussion" button on the homepage... like when ever someone visits my forum to write blog post, they don't see any option for it unless they go into site.com/blog and there will be a button called "Write a article" okay, lemme be more simple - i want this button to appear on homepage. That's all.

This particular button triggers the following url
https://hacklido.com/blog/compose?tags=14 in my site so thought the nav link extension can do it with a slight modification.
Instead of "Download link" option we can paste the url to pop up the blog composer model. And can change the fa-download button to something else like fa-pen. That was idea. hope its clear now.
