If that fails it would scrape the site or at a minimum pull the title and description. All would then be stored in the database. I’m sure this isn’t easy, but, I have a WordPress site right now that does this. I didn’t create the link preview part. But, it’s obviously very possible and not resource intensive if done right. Default sort control. If you want all discussions to be ordered by most popular by default you could easily do so. Waiting room. Mimic what some link sharing sites do. New topics are in a waiting area. They only show on the main page once they have enough votes. BBCode manager. An extension that lets you manage custom BBCode from the admin. So you can create new BBCode and adjust existing ones. And/or, set certain BBCode for admin/mod use only. If another user tries to use a particular BBCode it doesn’t convert for them. Editor toolbar customizer Ajax chat Private message Fediverse Advanced Appearance. Extend the admin appearance page with more settings. Ability to easily change more colors, fonts, page width, etc. Security. Some type of extra security extension. Block IPs after so many failed log in attempts. Maybe a honeypot on login and registration forms? Any other security additions… even if some are easily circumvented by advanced hackers… I feel like any little challenge to increase security could be worth it. And certain existing extensions might do some of this… I don’t know… I’m just throwing out ideas.

Been thinking about this one since day one 😂 and then there's a smiley/emoticon manager that could prove to be useful for those that miss the olden days 😉 (TextFormatter has support for this btw)
