Nice work. I'm curious what the difference would be between this and fof/upload as attachments can be styled with a button too. I guess this would allow you to use any link, internal or external?

ctml correct, so in a sense you won't have to store files on your own server

ctml yes K4nj is right it's only to use other online storage services like Google drive, one drive or self hosted nextcloud instance.
