Adding custom banners

I've been browsing most topics regarding ads but can't seem to find a solution.

The closest I got was this post: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/3142-advertising/9 but it's very old.

I want to add my own custom banners with clickable external links, placement could be between posts or below tags.

How can this be accomplished? Appreciate any feedback.

Thank you very much, I have that extension installed but I thought it was only for adsense etc.

I'm in need of some pointers here please, I read that whole post and the answer on how to add your own banner/ad is to "add any HTML code to the given locations for ads."

I somewhat understand tech/dev talk but I definitely don't walk the walk. I have a basic flarum installation in place, I know how to install extensions and other simpler stuff.

I'm going through HTML tutorials but I don't understand where specifically do I add the HTML? Which file..? And where do I place the actual banner, assets folder?

Sorry to bring you down to this level but I'm just starting to learn and it's a lot..

MichaelAGT i think u can add the html into the extension settings (admin panel) in the appropriate box (e.g. between post)
