@rafaucau Great extension! Thanks for building. A few requests:

I have Tabs set as my default home page. Is there a way to remove the Discussions button completely? It greatly confuses the user nav.
In place of the Discussions button, a Search button would be excellent. Search is hard to find on mobile Flarum layouts.
The notification badge icon (1) should use the app's color (green in my case). Because the badge is not catching user's attention. Anyone have a CSS patch for this?

I can throw a bounty on these Mobile Tab improvements if you have time/interest @rafaucau ? Shouldn't be super hard....

1) ADD SEARCH BUTTON - Currently search sits hidden in the top left hamburger menu on mobile.

2) ADD PRIVATE MESSAGES BUTTON - The private messages extension is fabulous. But its entry link is also hidden in the top left hamburger menu on mobile. We should get it into the bottom bar when the extension is active.

3) ADD 'WHICH BUTTONS TO SHOW SETTING' - A settings page in the extension would help let users customize which buttons they want to show, now that more options exist (Home, All Discussions, Search, Messages, Notifications, Profile).

These features would be very helpful. If you have a price please let me know.

If anyone else would like to join the bounty, please advise.

Sure. I think all sorts of customization buttons should be available. Even HTML links. This shouldn't be hard, it's mostly front end work.

I don't even know how to start a bounty on here. Any guidance would help.

Worst case if someone wants to fork this extension if original dev isn't interested, that'd be cool.

Buildit I actually had this idea before - not just adding search or messages, but a full UI in the admin panel to manage which items show up in the mobile menu, their order, and even custom links. If we go ahead with a bounty, I can definitely find some time outside of my regular work to build it.

Originally I thought about waiting for Flarum 2.0 stable to avoid giving myself extra work, since extensions need some changes there, but as things have been quiet around the release, I’d be open to implementing it for the current version.

100% man. We need this. Mobile is everything these days.

How do we add bounty? Can we add it to this thread? Or does it need a separate proposal thread? Do flarum mods need to enable it? (I've never done one before).

Also, name a target price and we can scrounge up some donations.

It will be included in one of the next beta releases (for Flarum 2.0-beta) (in the near future).

rafaucau Tested it on Nightly and it looks great. It's one of the best Flarum extensions, and with the 2.x version it has become amazing.
