Favicon in mobile desktop

Hello,

If I go to flarum forum in mobile tab and in the mobile navigator (test now in Chrome) go to options and click in "add to home screen" when paste the icon in my mobile desk not view the icon only the first domain letter, in Flarum case, the "F"

In other webpages, when go with this option, in the mobile desktop view the original favicon.

Have a possibility to do this with Flarum?

You need to have a manifest.json file with different sizes of your site icons in it.
The easiest way is to install askvortsov/flarum-pwa and add those icons there.

rafaucau Thanks Rafa, I view the extension you link me but I no need at this moment a completely PWA in my forum.
For me not neccesary implement a PWA, I think the flarum core working very well in mobile, only view to add the option to show the Favicon in mobile deskop if any user go with this action and add direct access via navigator to his mobile desktop.

Maybe create or edit the manifest.json file manual to working with the favicon? it would be possible or it is better to do it through an extension?
I think that installing the extension that you indicate just to use only the part that I need maybe is too much.

You will need to add it to <head>.
<link rel="manifest" href="/manifest.json">

To add the code to the <head> its possible directly via admin in Appearance/ Custom Header ??

If there is no extension that allows you to add custom HTML to the head of the page, then you have to write your own extension where you add this code.
