I'm working on a custom theme – how would I center the contents here properly?

I was using a theme example to help me setup mine, but I can't find anything anywhere about how to center pinned contents.

Also I'd like to have none of these things mess with the admin CP...

When I click on a discussion the padding I added at the top is messing up where the Flarum navigation drops to as well. https://cloudup.com/cgchB6aqyU1

These few issues are my last hangups, but can't seem to iron them out at all – I'm not familiar enough with Flarum's CSS yet.
