Sometimes the tags are loaded correctly, but each tag shows all discussions.
And then again on a cache clear the sub tags are completely messed up.
I suspect strong in caching error but I am reaching my limits.

ok, i seem to be on the right track.
OpCache is apparently responsible for this strange behavior. Cleared its cache and then everything looks correct.
Is this known?
On a pure hunch, I am now back to php7.4 which has made the error even rarer. But without guarantee yet.
