Need help installing...again

Hey! A while back I was able to install it.

I need to do it again and cannot remember what command I enter to install Flarum so it's installed at MYDOMAIN.com and NOT MYDOMAIN.com/flarum

I entered the command to access my account. What command or commands is next to install it at mydomain.com?

You have to point you MyDomain.com to myDomain.com/flarum folder in your host admin dashboard. You can too change this following the documentation

Can someone lay out what steps are needed to get flarum to be at my domain.com? I have it installed currently at mydomain.com/flarum/public and is ready for me to fill out the installation steps.

What’s my steps? The documentation I get editing the code but when I move the files it doesn’t work.

Maybe use the mv command in Linux?

MikeJones I’m on a MacBook Pro. Not sure what that command is. Still very new to all this.

aaronhall is your server your MacBook?

Either way I think mac is Linux based. Look at the move mv command for moving directories. May need to then edit your server config file too depending where it's pointing to serve your website.

Right now flarum is ready to install at my domain.com/flarum/public.

Do I instal it and then move all the files in “public” to the directory for mydomain.com and then edit the files per the installation docs?

I want it at mydomain.com

I moved the files to mydomain.com directory instead of public.

Edited as per the guide and get this still when going to mydomain.com:

This page isn’t working MYDOMAIN.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Is it a bad idea to install flarum in my public_html folder itself? I am trying to get it to be mydomain.com and not at any subdirectory.

Okay, I finally got it! lol it is installed now at mydomain.com 🙂
