Posting this purely out of curiosity; how did you come up with your online alias?
I have always been interested to find out about where people came up with their alias', what is the meaning behind it, do you use it on all games and communities or do you have a different alias for different purposes? How did you first try and figure it out? If your username is registered already, what's your go-to plan B?
A bit of background for mine after changing it from Liberty. My usual online alias is Prosperous. Many years ago (I'm thinking circa 2000-2001) I played a game called Habbo Hotel and after trying my best to come up with a username, I looked through the dictionary to find something that sounded good, meant something and after opening the dictionary a couple of times randomly, I fell upon the word prosperous. Prosperous means successful in material terms; flourishing financially or bringing wealth and success. Whilst I am not materialistic in reality whatsoever, the name really appealed especially to Habbo Hotel as in those days the more rare furni you owned, the "richer" you were in the game. Since then, it has stuck and I've kept it ever since. Even in places that don't have the username available, I have a go-to but I try and find a way to get access to that name especially if it hasn't ever been actively used before. 😈
Coming from Liberty, it wasn't original and I've mainly used it on Flarum to be honest. I used to own a Subaru Liberty before giving it to my brother hence the name stuck but I thought I'd stick to my origins and decided to change my username here on Flarum.
