Extra SideBar Button

Hey, im trying to add aditional sidebar button to my flarum index page sidebar in left: http://i.imgur.com/Qpyr4l9.png u can see i added here.
How can i do this? Can someone make it?
The button just need to open external site page.

I don't think it's possible without JavaScript...

7h3ev1l Flarum's client is built with Javascript, so in order to add a button, you'll need to write some JS code. No way around it. You might have to wait until someone comes along and can build this for you if that's an issue.

7h3ev1l Right, the best route is always going to be writing an extension. Editing core files is usually going to land you in a world of hurt, either now or later. It's not too scary, if you're nervous about it, come on to Gitter chat flarum/developers and you'll find other helpful souls.

You can do it with Flagrow Ads extension. This extension not only let you make ads but also allow to add html, then you can add the button there. It would be easier than edit core files.
