010101 Probably too expensive for one thing. And then you run into incompatibility issues.
Try management, Microsoft has built an incredible environment around managing and controlling enterprise devices. For starters their Active Directory service is by far one of the best all around user and group management systems available (newer ones are getting closer but I think AD still holds a lead, even if it is complex) their GPO system is super powerful and you can do almost anything with it if you really try. Tie that in with the dozens of other products available to enterprises (WSUS for update management, AD Federated Services for SSO, etc.) combined with the fact that everything to the employee anyways "just works" when they try to access company file shares and other stuff it's pretty much just unmatched.
Other companies are trying super hard to match Microsoft in these areas, but their trying to do it with cloud products, and every time they release a cloud product that is actually pretty good, Microsoft comes along and not only does it, but does it in a way that system administrators and enterprises love and can easily get behind.
And at this point if you do want to manage a windows device via the cloud only Azure AD with Intune is basically the only way to go. Need file shares? No problem, spin it up in azure, give the users permissions to access the share, map it in Intune, bam users have it mapped and ready to go in a matter of minutes (sync takes a couple hours, but the admin side is done in minutes)
