Migrating forums — anyone working on a general-purpose tool yet?

I'm currently working on a general-purpose forum migration tool with the goal of being able to import more than 30 different forums and export them into any popular open source forum. I'm wondering if anyone else is currently working on something similar or interested in discussing it further. The FAQ says "Relatively soon, we’ll start building tools to import data from other forum software" so I wanted to make sure I'm not doing redundant work.

I had plans to make a Python migration scripts from X to Flarum too, built with my pyFlarum package once I add database support to it (currently, it only allows you to login as user and perform tasks via the API). The database branch was started, and currently works to some extent, but it was never finished.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough motivation to prioritize this over my current couple of projects (and also due to lack of database samples to work with from different platforms), so it will have to wait.
