Cannot start php-fcgi-forum-site-org.service

Failed to start Starts Nginx PHP FastCGI server for forum.site.org (Virtualmin).

I am using Virtualmin as "hosting" and upon this Nginx as Virtualmin does not handle websites created by Go. So Nginx proxies both a Go webserver at port 9091 AND Flarum via PHP-FPM at 9000.

Any tip how to deal with this?

Sibert if you see the "Something went wrong" message, then PHP probably works otherwise Flarum wouldn't be able to render that error message.

You can check your browser javascript console to see whether there was a javascript error that prevented the Flarum application from booting.

Make sure you're accessing your forum via the URL (subdomain and protocol) defined in config.php (the URL used during installation)
