Flarum on x10hosting

Yes, I'm using a free hosting. But recently they have added Flarum to their list of easy installation package.

How do they offer it, if it's a free hosting that does not support SSH access to run Composer? How is admin going to update or install extensions? I asked same question on their forum, but I want to know your guys opinion on this.

Did they added a possibility of a command line in Admin panel?

seems as it's using "DirectAdmin" a hosting panel that also offers composer. Might do it with that or through Softocoluous. Either way, you will have to check with them how they did it and whether extension management is possible.

Yep, I don't see any options for SSH in DirectAdmin tho. That's why I'm curious. Like you said, maybe it's just "As Is" type of thing, with no updates or plugins.

So far no answer. I'll post it here if someone answers.

Ahhh, there I was all happy for a second. Here is a response and I quote,

Flarum will still require SSH. However that is not provided via our free hosting only our premium paid hosting. The adding support you are seeing is a universal package that is installed across all of our hosting packages. I will see about getting that one removed within the free packages to not cause any further confusion.

Oh well.
