Flarum and Laravel file structure

First of all, this is a great Open Source Project, I LOVE IT.
I'm a new developer, and I think the structure of Laravel is one of it is strengths, it is clear. When I saw that this project (Flarum) is created by Laravel, I expected to see a structure like Laravel, but I can see now that all files are located in the vendor file and php artisan publish vendor are not working out of the box.
I know that many design structure choices are made in a way that helped to create this project. Is there a way to publish the files and make them like Laravel? I saw many discussions are created around this point.

Flarum uses illuminate, so components of the laravel framework.

Publishing of assets from extensions happens automatically for any files in the extension directory under assets. The docs should explain this as well.

Flarum isn't a laravel application btw but it uses many laravel (illuminate) components though.
