I did that once or twice at first, but soon got used to it. I don't think it's a huge problem, because that field is preceded by a help text that says:
Choose Tags for Your Discussion
And just in case that isn't enough, it also has a placeholder text that says:
Neither of these mention anything about entering a title. If you just follow the instructions, you'll be okay.
Still get confused? Try it another way:
- Click the Start a Discussion button.
- Ignore the Choose Tags button! ... Instead, enter a title in the proper place.
- Type in the body of your post.
- Click the Post Discussion button.
At this point, Flarum will pop up the dialog asking you to choose a tag. You probably won't try to enter a title now, since you know you've already entered the title. Problem solved. (And it takes one less mouse click this way. ? )
