Please remove the extra codes you added in the admin section (rtl related). Also, it's very likely that these issues occurred due to caching, so please clear the site's data on your browser or test your forum with a different browser.
In any case, the new version has been tested in several different forums, and I didn't see any issues.
Using version 0.1.5 also doesn't cause any problems. The advantage of the latest version 0.2.3 is that you can install themes and other extensions on Flarum without worrying about direction. If these features are not useful to you, you won't miss anything if you don't update.
