Composer Preview

A Flarum extension. Preview the content of a new discussion while creating it in the composer.

Originally this extension was created by @simonxeko (see discussion). Glowing Blue then took the original idea and created a new implementation that works with the latest version of Flarum and is more seamlessly integrated into the existing flarum/core code. Glowing Blue no longer had the need to maintain this, and so I, @010101 have taken over as the maintainer.

MikeJones there’s been a preview button when replying for a while now. The main thing this extension does is adds it when creating a brand new discussion too.

Umutcan It's on my to do list. But, it's something that will take me personally a long time to create. I'm a self-taught code tinkerer. Not a professional developer. So, I have to be in the mood, sit down, and spend several hours and days figuring out all the admin settings and stuff required to make that BBCode manager extension a reality. 🙂

Hopefully the last update for a while. Sorry to make you update again if you already installed this. Super small CSS adjustment in this update:

Fix composer header title on very small screens - it wasn't quite truncated enough in the previous update for sizes less than 380px wide. Most phones are a little bigger than this these days, but you never know.

Sorry, my bad, I expected to see a preview above the post. Didn't know I had to press the preview button. Although it's not clear whether the button is pressed or not and whether I'm in preview mode where typing is not possible, so this might be confusing for people.

I tried various things today but was unable to get the preview button to remain active. I may try again some other day when my mind is fresh.

For now I will release a new version soon which adds an eye icon to the screen when in preview mode. Plus, there's one other CSS fix I needed to do.

Added eye icon to bottom of composer body if in preview mode as a way to confirm you are in preview mode
Code clean up and removed unnecessary files

Help needed: Ideally, I need someone to do a pull request to change the preview button color when preview mode is on.

010101 I would like to help but I have no design/frontend experience. I have installed the extension and it works fine, it just needs to fix the color of the icon to be perfect.
