In nginx try this:

server {
    listen 80;
    listen [::]:80;
    server_name www.test.com;
    return 301 https://test.com$request_uri;
}

If you want that to work with TLS too, you have to add an additional server block with your TLS configuration. And of course remove www.test.com from your main server block.
