Yeah, I know I know. But It's not working the way I wanted.
To use gmail smtp for sending email, you need to enable the Allow less secure app
. But Idk only me, but that option keep turning off by itself for just a few days. It really annoys me. And I don't want to spend money on getting a 3rd party mail service, or building my own mail server. So I made this!
This luuhai48/gmail-oauth2 still allows you to send email using your gmail account, but through Oauth2 so you don't have to care about the stupid less secure app
thing.
Well, at least it works for me.
Unfortunately, I only tested it with the Flarum v0.1.0-beta.14. So if you want to try, clone an fix it yourself (sorry, I'm lazy).
