Downgrade to Beta 12 - 'Oops! Something went wrong'

Thanks for your help. I've been trying to update my beta 12 forum to stable but my shared hosting gives a 500 error every time I try and switch to anything other than PHP 7.1.33.

So I have rolled back to beta 12 and the forum appears fine, but when a user tries to log in they get the 'Oops! Something went wrong.' message. It is possible to log in by recovering password, but then it still won't work next time.

The logs show:

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm on Flarum Beta 12, PHP 7.1.33.

Have you cleared your cache while rolling back? php flarum cache:clear

The lifetime_seconds column is being renamed during one migration and deleted in another, so it's possible that a partial migration left your database in a broken state.

If a migration failed, the best course of action would be to restore the forum from a database backup before trying again.

If that's not an option, you will likely need to manually fix the database columns to match with the schema for your Flarum version.

clarkwinkelmann Thanks for the reply @clarkwinkelmann - I restored the database from a timeline backup and it has fixed the issue. Thank you for your continued work on the platform!

Incidentally, is there anyone offering update services on the forum? I tried Fiverr twice with disastrous results, only marginally less disastrous than doing it myself.
