Hello everyone. Updated flarum, but packages can't through Plesk panel. when you click the update button, they are not updated to the new one

Hi @ART994 .
I don't know where you tried to update Flarum in Plesk but if you have SSH access you can do every necessary operation by SSH.

Your Flarum install is now at version 1.2 showed when you log-in in the admin or what version of Flarum you are still running?

What has been not updated is the plugins?
Maybe you lunched the update not by following Flarum official instructions than something was not fully upgraded on your side? In this case you can follow the official instruvtions that luceos linked to you.

On Plesk you need every time upgrade the composer to version 2 because on Plesk currently composer is at version 1.5 that is obsolete and can have issues.

After upgrade composer be sure that Plesk never downgrade it again in the future to 1.5 so follow the following guide: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403030120978-How-to-install-enable-PHP-Composer-2-on-Plesk-Server-

Once done this simply follow official instructions on how upgrade Flarum https://docs.flarum.org/update#general-steps
you will need to be in the root Flarum folder.

peopleinside I have an extension in the Plesk php composer panel, I click update, but not all updates happen. my flarum version has been updated by itself. Flarum updated itself normally, it works as before. but I don't know how to update the extensions manually

What extension? You mean the composer one? By default in Plesk the composer extension is at version 1.5 and this is an issue so I suggested to follow the two Plesk guide link that I mentioned in the previous message.

Currently your composer seems to be updated, from your screenshot, so looks fine.
Remember to not be logged as admin when you update Flarum if Flarum is not installed as root user. Usually installations are not under root user.

Your Flarum version looks like to be updated to the latest one version.
You can check if extensions are outdate with the following command run on the Flarum root folder:

composer outdated --direct

ART994 you may broke your Flarum install if you still use composer as root. As told before usually applications should be not installed as root but as normal user and you should not run composer as root. The only command in composer that can be run as root is when you need upgrade composer so composer self-update.

Before do any actions be always sure to have a full folders and database backup of Flarum

You can switch to a normal user using command su followed by your user nickname.
Seems your Flarum installation are correctly updated. No things need to be updated.

Seems you are using a third part extension that need to be updated with composer update katosdev/signature
than php flarum migrate and php flarum cache:clear

You may try to google the error and see if there is some suggested steps.
