A question not related to the issue you are talking about. How often is the favicon obtained with the Google API updated? I changed the web favicon a few days ago and the old one still appears in each preview.

Subarist Will try to reproduce the reported error by installing all of your extensions one by one on my dev installation. Might need some time to get around to do that though.
In the meantime feel free to downgrade to ^1.2

edit: seems v17development-seo is causing the issue

Subarist I do have both extensions active on a live instance of mine and I sadly cannot reproduce this issue.
Is the issue gone if you disable the seo extension? Did you clear your cache and force refresh before trying to post to ensure new sources were loaded?

Subarist Was able to reproduce the issue by changing the active context from the post editor using tab or click forcing another render and starting the preview loop while editing a post. Proposed another potential fix for the issue.

Gatsu Can you open the browser console and check for specific errors in there? The default timeout for the Scraper to parse the link should be 10 seconds.

Now when running a preview, there is an extra duplicate URL on the last line.
Not a big deal, just letting you know.
You can still test in the same article with a test account.

I have last flarum update and link preview, php 8.1.

In my case it doesn't load the link preview, the circle remains and it loads indefinitely.

- spekulatius/phpscraper 1.0.2 requires ext-intl * -> it is missing from your system. Install or enable PHP's intl extension. - datlechin/flarum-link-preview v1.4.0 requires spekulatius/phpscraper ^1.0.2 -> satisfiable by spekulatius/phpscraper[1.0.2]. - datlechin/flarum-link-preview is locked to version v1.4.0 and an update of this package was not requested.

Litalino the Flarum extension needs the PHP intl extension. On debian/ubuntu I believe the package is called php-intl. For other operating systems and managed hosting you should be able to find how to install a PHP extension with an online search.
