This has happened to me before. Usually, after a while it will work. But, does anyone know why this happens?
I am trying to update an extension. The author published the new version over 2 hours ago and the new version tag is showing on GitHub and Packagist.
When I try to update composer says nothing to install or update.
When I remove and require again. It installs the old version.
I did composer clearcache
just in case but no change.
I’ve tried with and without the "*"
at the end of the package name.
Could it be something with my web host’s set up?
Is there a way to force composer to go look for and install the latest package?
What you see here is me re-installing the extension. Even though version 0.2.0 is published, it is still installing 0.1.8.
FYI @datlechin in case you have any ideas.
I will try again later today.
