4lan4raujo, currently it seems not to be possible, but the best way is to implement quickstart package at Openshift Hub. Maybe someone will do it later.

4lan4raujo, yes, it seems to be possible.

Flarum need php 5.5 or higher version, but openshift only support php 5.4. Openshift provide a way to compile 5.5 or higher version of php, the DIY cartridge, but I had tried, compile php 5.5 failed, I don't know what happened and no log could check, just closed ssh connection by remote host.

I have good news for you guys. I found a way to install PHP 5.5+ into Openshift using DIY cartridge. Right now I'm installing PHP 5.6 on my Openshift app and then I'll try Flarum installation. If everything goes well, I'll let you know.

justshipit Yep, fingers crossed. Right now I'm having problems with "timed out" errors for some reasons.

These timeouts are not related to PHP. It's OpenShift itself. If it's outside of OpenShift, then it is possible. OpenShift always has limits. I even tried another way which includes using sudo, but OpenShift refused to let me.

So, it's best if we wait for OpenShift to add the support for 5.5/5.6.

Yeah same bottleneck here @firelad97 & @4lan4raujo :/ I am taking Digital Ocean and once we have support of higher version of PHP on OS, I will move there.
