redirect to /forum

I just installed Flarum on my DigitalOcean droplet, and linked my domain to it.
It works fine!

But how can I redirect the domain to the /forum/ directory?
Now my domain is linked to the DigitalOcean IP, but Flarum is installed on: xx.xx.xx.xx/forum

I already Googled and tried some options, but nothing seems to work.
Your help is very welcome!

Hi.
@justshipit moved Flarum into a sub directory, just like me.
It works fine!

The problem is this: I changed the DNS settings, so my domain xx.com goes to x.x.x.x.
But I want it to go to x.x.x.x/forum

This is not possible to fix in the DNS settings, so I need a redirect script or something like that.
Editting .htaccess doesn't seem to work...

I read the topic again, but don't see a solution.
I changed the URL in config.php already, but people visiting my domain xx.com are still not redirected to xx.com/forum

Ok I'm think about moving the whole forum to the main / directory.

The only thing I'm concerned about:
I installed Flarum using these instructions: http://shinyidol.us/setup-flarum-on-digital-ocean/
There's a part where I changed the /etc/nginx/sites-available/default file with the following:

 Add the following in location /

 try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$query_string;

 Now copy this after the } in location /

 location /flarum/ {
         try_files $uri $uri/ /flarum/index.php?$args;
    location /flarum/ { try_files $uri $uri/ /flarum/index.php?$query_string; }
    location /flarum/api { try_files $uri $uri/ /flarum/api.php?$query_string; }
    location /flarum/admin { try_files $uri $uri/ /flarum/admin.php?$query_string; }
 }

Is this going to be a problem?
